What is the Dal Trail?
Throughout the week of the British Dal Festival eateries around the UK will serve a signature dal or similar pulse dish, allowing people across the country to enjoy bean, pea and lentil dishes from a variety of cultures and cuisines.
Applications for the Dal Trail are now open to established eateries. Please submit applications through the form above. If your business has multiple trading locations, you must submit an application for each location. There is no charge to be part of the Dal Trail.
You'll simply serve a signature dal or similar pulse dish during the week of the festival. Your dish could be a split or whole pulse dish. Pulse pioneers Hodmedod are offering all participants on the Dal Trail a discount on a first wholesale order of their British-grown pulses, grains and seeds..
We'll shout about your fabulous dal, through the Dal Trail listings on our website and our social media channels. We'll give you a lovely window sticker to advertise your participation in the dal trail too!
